27 Track 99 Track 98 (800) 325-3040 Handbell Seasonal HB (3–5) Patricia Hurlbutt has arranged a graceful and dancelike setting that alternates between a lilting 3/4 and a sprightly 6/8. Two key changes highlight these shifts, and the piece culminates with a brief passage marked presto. Level III. Patricia Hurlbutt Prepare the Royal Highway 977891 | $4.25 Advent HB (3–5), Opt. HC (3–5) This delightful arrangement of the Christmas tune austrian carol is introduced with a light and joyful original melody. The first statement of the tune is supported by an LV accompaniment, followed by a second section featuring malleting and thumb-damping. The third section incorporates still, still, still with the main tune and uses chimes and bells together. Level II. Cathy Moklebust As Lately We Watched 977974 | $4.50 Christmas HB (2–5) This celebratory and jubilant fanfare is arranged in three sections. First, repeated triumphant fanfare strains include hints of the gaudeamus pariter tune. Next, the hymn tune is presented in full, punctuated by little fanfare accents. Finally, the full fanfare returns. This piece will help your handbell choir call the faithful to "raise the strain of triumphant gladness" at the resurrection of our Lord! Level II. J. Wayne Kerr Fanfare on Come, You Faithful, Raise the Strain 978026 | $4.50 Easter HB or HC (3–5(6)) This setting is an expansion of a piece from "Four Christmas Hymns for Twelve Bells, Set 1" (977807). Your choirs will love the blending of the hymn tunes the first nowell and stille nacht. This is a great piece for Christmas! Level II. Sandra Eithun Born Is the King of Israel 978001 | $4.25 Christmas HB (3–5) The tune deo gracias is given a robust treatment in this setting for 3–5 octaves. Mallets play a vigorous rhythm pattern, resulting in a rollicking, dancelike feel. The piece uses a variety of techniques and has two key changes. Level II. Patricia Hurlbutt O Love, How Deep 977999 | $4.25 Lent HB (2–3) Bach's Minuet in G has been paired with the hymn tune puer nobis, making for a lovely, light, and easy arrangement. The piece begins with Bach's theme and after a few phrases transitions to the hymn tune in full. The "B" section of the minuet comes next, followed by a more ornamented return of the tune. Ringers will have fun with this accessible piece, and it will fit well at Easter or Advent. Level II. Terry Osman That Easter Day with Joy Was Bright 978029 | $4.50 Easter New! New!
