Open Gather the kids in your central meeting spot and welcome them, then review the Take-Home Point. Connect God keeps His promises! In Psalm 36:7, the Bible says, "How precious is Your steadfast love, O God!" Connect the snack with the Bible story with these key points: ■ Today's snack will remind us that God rescues us, and that He keeps His promises. ■ God rescued Noah, his family, and the animals from the flood and from the sinful world. ■ For a long time after the rain, all Noah could see was water. ■ God kept His promise to Noah. The water went away, leaving a new land. ■ God rescues us from our sin. He promised Jesus, who took our sins away on the cross. Jesus promises to come back someday and give us new life forever with Him. Create Show the finished sample. Demonstrate making the snack. 1. Scoop yogurt into the plastic cup. 2. Add the thawed blueberries and stir, turning the yogurt blue. (Note: you could also use yogurt that is already blue.) 3. Add the fruit wedge or graham cracker "boat." Close After the kids finish eating, review the Take-Home Point and repeat the Bible verse for today. Supply List At each Team's table, place the following: ■ Yogurt ■ Frozen blueberries, thawed ■ Fruit wedge or graham cracker, 1 per person ■ Clear plastic punch cups ■ Serving spoon and plastic spoons ■ Hand sanitizer, napkins, cups & water ■ Finished sample Ark Rescue Yogurt Less on 1 Leader: RAINFOREST EXPLORERS!
