SAY: If you brought an offering for our Mission Project, please put it in the basket as you leave. PRAY this echo prayer: God, / You promise to show us the way. / Help me trust You / even when I don't know the way. / You always keep Your promises. / In Jesus' name we pray. / Amen. SING "Beautiful Savior" (Track 7; use Lyrics Slides). As the children depart, DISPLAY the Theme Slide and PLAY Track 1, "Jesus Is My Treasure." Opening 1. Welcome 5 minutes Play music as children arrive. SING "Jesus Is My Treasure" (Track 1; use Lyrics Slides). SAY: In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. PRAY the Morning Prayer (use Morning Prayer Slide). 2. Bible Story and Take-Home Point 5 minutes SAY: At Rainforest Explorers, Jesus leads the way to the very best treasure of all! Sometimes, it can be hard to know the way to go. We can't always see where we're going at all! But we can trust God, who always knows where we're going and guides us perfectly. God keeps His promises. SAY the Take-Home Point (see below). SING "Jesus' Love" (Track 2; use Lyrics Slides). SAY: We're going to listen to the Bible story from God's Holy Word! It comes from the Old Testament Book of Genesis. (Hold up a Bible as you speak.) Listen closely and hear about how God took care of Noah. READ Genesis 6:17–22; 8. 3. Truth Up! Theme Video and Song 10 minutes SHOW Truth Up! Lesson 1 Opening Video. SAY: I wonder what Nick and Megan will show us later with sinking and floating! SAY the Take-Home Point. 4. Mission and Closing 5 minutes SHOW the Mission Video. Leader: RAINFOREST EXPLORERS! One hand on hip, one shading eyes, look around. GOD KEEPS HIS PROMISES! Point up with one hand.
