A B O U T T H E AU T H O R
The Rev. Dr. Brian T. German is associate professor
and chair of the Department of Theology at Concor-
dia University Wisconsin (Mequon). He received his
bachelor of arts in preseminary studies from Concor-
dia University Wisconsin in 2006 and his master of
divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary (Fort
Wayne, Indiana) in 2010. Afterward, he enrolled in
doctoral work at Wycliffe College (Toronto, Ontar-
io), where he completed his PhD in biblical studies
in 2014. In the same year, Dr. German was called to
serve at Concordia University Wisconsin as a pro-
fessor of theology and the director of the Concordia
Bible Institute. Dr. German teaches Biblical Hebrew
and a variety of biblical books.
