Introducing: Lutheran School Standards Ensuring that students are learning the faith in a comprehensive way is important to teachers and parents. Even more important is working with your students in learning about Christ and how His love flows throughout the Bible and into their hearts. In cooperation with Lutheran educators, the LCMS School Ministry Office, and Concordia Publishing House, new religion standards were created to provide an intentional framework that reflects Lutheran teaching. The framework of these standards begins with the goal of nurturing individuals in their lifelong understanding of what it means to be a Christian. They are divided between two questions—"Who am I?" and "Why am I here?"—to create a well-rounded understanding of Christian identity and calling.
