Family conflict. Anyone who thinks his or her family doesn't have conflict is in denial. As soon
as more than one sinner is put in a house together, there are going to be plenty of opportunities
to give and take offense—resulting in the need to give and receive forgiveness. How do we re-
spond when life happens—when parents split, alcoholism spills into the next generation, mental
illness goes untreated, or hard conversations stay locked in our chests?
