It can be very tricky to navigate social gatherings when family or friends hold differing
political views. This sort of tension has always existed, but it seems to be exacerbated
of late by all the social media flowing at us. But why is it so difficult to listen to friends
or family who have different political convictions? And why do these interactions bring
out the worst in one another?
