800.325.3040 3 Picking your Bible study is hard. Whether you're choosing for yourself, your Bible study group, or your family, you have to take a lot of points into consideration: • How long will it take to study? Is it divided up into weekly sessions? • Is the topic appropriate and interesting? • Will I have to modify the study at all? As you think about these questions and browse studies online, you might become overwhelmed. With so many factors to consider, how can you ever pick what to study? Here's a short little walk-through to help you figure out what to keep in mind while you're choosing your next study. Think about what you want to learn. Are you looking for a deeper study of a book of the Bible? to learn how to defend your faith? to get your family in the Word every day? Pick the priority that's most important to you or your group at this moment. Consider your schedule. Some studies are weekly, some have daily components, and some have no dates at all! Talk with your group or family, or look at your own schedule to see what works best. Don't stress if you miss a week, if you don't read every single day, or if you have to stop halfway through a chapter. Give yourself some grace as you figure out your routine. Read a free sample. The best way to know if you'll like a study or book is to read a preview! Most sites gives you a preview of the book, so you can read the first few pages for free to get a feel for the study. Blessings as you study God's Word this fall! How do I know what to study?
