We are never alone in the family of God. Our
Christian brothers and sisters are here to li us up.
When we despair, they point us back to God's Word
and the promise of our Baptism. When we sin, they
hold the mirror of God's Law to call us to repentance.
We worship with them, giving all praise and honor
and glory to God. We serve with them as we share
the Gospel with the world in acts of love and mercy.
Any Christian community is made of God, you, and
your neighbor.
